Sample Ancestry Group Tour
Launched by the Association of O’Neill Clans at the Hill of The O’Neill Centre, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone on the 12 November 2012, the O’Neill Clans Gathering took place from May 22-26, 2013. This is a prime example of the type of sample ancestry group tour packages that we can provide.
Brack Tours were involved with attending clients in organising all of the details in Ireland for hotels, celebrations and events.
The event
The O’Neill Clans Gathering was designed to bring together O’Neill family members from around the globe to share stories and celebrate an incredibly rich and diverse history of one of Europe’s oldest and most celebrated clans.
The four-day long event included visits to various historical O’Neill sites including:
- The Hill of The O’Neill in Dungannon, County Tyrone
- The coronation site of The O’Neill in nearby Cookstown
- Optional Walking tours of Armagh – a city with a rich O’Neill heritage and
- A Visit to Ireland’s capital city Dublin.
Overnight stays at:
- 3* Armagh City Hotel-Armagh (3 nights)
- 4* Camden Court Hotel – Dublin (2 nights)
* All tour details were being organised by the Association of the O’Neill Clans.
