Day 1
Dinner and refreshments will be served. You will awaken this morning to your first glimpse of Ireland.
Day 2
Your day starts early at Dublin Airport or City Centre (9.00am) We travel to Trim Castle (Movie Braveheart) for the first visit on the way to Westport. After our visit we travel west with a lunch stop on the way to the Museum of Country Life in County Mayo and the onwards to the town of Westport.
Hotel: Castlecourt Hotel, Westport. Dinner, bed and breakfast
Day 3
Visit Achill Island: Today we visit the Island where the Golden Globe winner the “Banshee’s of Inisherin” was mostly filmed and visit sites where scenes were filmed. The late afternoon and evening are free to explore Westport town.
Hotel: Castlecourt Hotel, Westport. Bed and Breakfast.
Day 4
This morning we visit the Connemara region of County Galway and Kylemore Abbey. We also touch on areas where the following movies have had scenes filmed. (Marley and Me / The Guard / Leap Year) We later make a stop in Leenaun (the village in the movie the Field with Richard Harris) before traveling back to Westport late evening. (Time allowed for lunch at Kylemore Abbey).

Day 5
We leave Westport this morning and travel via Cong (the village in the Quiet man movie with John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara to Galway (Quiet Man cottage visit and walking tour) then onto Galway and free time in City.
Hotel: Connacht Hotel, Dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 6
Today we have a day trip to Aran Islands which includes a ferry ride to the island and tour of island and visit to Dun Aengus stone fort with time to explore the village of Kilronan. (Island used in various movies as well as Banshees of Inisherin).
Hotel: Connacht Hotel, Bed and breakfast.
Day 7
Today we leave County Galway and travel through County Clare for a morning visit to Cliffs of Moher. (Movies filmed here, Harry Potter, Half Blood Prince / Ryan’s Daughter / Far and Away) Lunch stop Liscannor at McHugh’s traditional Irish pub followed by a ferry ride across River Shannon and onwards to Dingle in County Kerry.
Hotel: Dingle Skellig Hotel, Dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 8
A Morning tour of Slea Head, one of Ireland’s most westerly peninsulas where scenes from movies such as Ryan’s Daughter / Far and Away / Star Wars were filmed. Afternoon free in Dingle to explore the many shops, bars and restaurants on offer.
Hotel: Dingle Skellig Hotel, Bed and breakfast.
Day 9
We travel east with morning stop in the heritage village of Adare. We visit Johns Castle in Limerick City where movies such as Angela’s Ashes, High Spirits and The Pope’s Exorcist (filming now). Rest stop on way to Dublin City.
Hotel: Camden Court Hotel. Dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 10
City coach tour in the morning with a visit to Epic Ireland and free afternoon in the city followed by a farewell dinner and Irish show at Taylors Three Rock traditional Irish pub.
Hotel: Camden Court Hotel: Bed and breakfast.
Day 11
Morning transfer to Dublin Airport for departure home.
1st July 2023 – Overnight Flight to Ireland
2nd, 3rd & 4th July 2023 – Castlecourt Hotel, Westport

5th & 6th July 2023 – Connacht Hotel, Galway
The Connacht Hotel is a popular Galway hotel, located on the main Dublin road as you enter Galway city centre. The hotel offers you extensive free parking, free WiFi and a regular bus route close by the hotel and taxi rank at the entrance with direct access to the city centre or alternatively Eyre Square is a 20 minute walk.

7th & 8th July 2023 – Dingle Skellig Hotel, Dingle

9th & 10th July 2023 – Camden Court Hotel, Dublin
This Dublin City Centre 4-Star hotel offers an array of complimentary extras such as access to our Leisure Centre and high-speed Wi-Fi. The Leisure Centre has a 16-metre swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and fully equipped gym.
Camden Court Hotel boasts an envious location in the heart of Dublin’s City Centre. You are within walking distance of some of the city’s top landmarks such as Trinity College, St Stephen’s Green and the National Concert Hall.
11th July 2023 – Return flight to the US
You bid farewell to the Emerald Isle as you board your flight back home.
